I have a 1974 150 series Security Six (actually a Service Six), and am sorry to say that replacement grips for these are unicorns. Thank you again as I am trying to get used to this forum format. I saw the notation and reference to the ruger forums and there was a chart or photo that showed the various curves that were used for the security six model. I have added a photo of the Hogue grip that does not match the curve of my back strap and frame even though it is made for a 151 or higher frame #. I hope to be able to contact some one with ruger information so that i can get grips for this gun and also clarify the frame model or description. ![]() ![]() i have also sent a sent a letter to NRA dope bag and and they were not of much help either. i talked to ruger and they could not identify my specific gun by frame model or designation. when i talked to hogue they did not have a remedy. the grips provided do not match the shape of the back strap. ![]() the grip makers all seem to say the frame number needs to be greater than 151 xxxxx. I have a ruger security six and have tried to get grips for it.
